1. Nickel based alloy Introduction
Incoloy Alloys:
Incoloy is a family of nickel-based alloys primarily composed of nickel, iron, and chromium. These alloys are highly resistant to both oxidizing and reducing acids, making them suitable for a range of harsh environments. They also offer strong resistance to stress corrosion cracking, pitting, and crevice corrosion. Key applications include the chemical and petrochemical industries, nuclear sector, and the extraction of rare metals, with popular variants like Incoloy 800, 825, and 926.
Inconel Alloys:
Inconel alloys consist of nickel, chromium, and iron, and are known for their exceptional strength and resistance to corrosion at high temperatures.
