1. Nickel-Based Alloy Introduction
Incoloy Alloy
The Incoloy alloy series represents a nickel-based, corrosion-resistant alloy with an iron-chromium backbone. It demonstrates superior resistance to corrosion in both reducing and oxidizing acids, coupled with resilience against stress corrosion cracking, pitting, and crevice corrosion. Within the fields of chemistry, petrochemicals, nuclear industry, and rare metal extraction, commonly utilized grades include Incoloy 800, Incoloy 825, and Incoloy 926.
Inconel Alloy
The Inconel alloy family is characterized by a nickel-chromium-iron solution strengthening composition. It offers remarkable high-temperature corrosion and oxidation resistance, along with excellent cold and hot processing capabilities and welding performance. This alloy finds widespread application in aviation, chemical processing, the paper industry, and numerous other domains. Commonly encountered grades are Inconel 600, Inconel 601, Inconel 625, Inconel 617, Inconel 718, and Inconel X-750.
Hastelloy Alloy
The Hastelloy alloy group comprises a nickel-based alloy that is both corrosion-resistant and suitable for high-temperature applications. It is primarily categorized into nickel-chromium and nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloys. These alloys exhibit excellent corrosion resistance and thermal stability, making them ideal for use in aviation, petrochemical, and chemical industries. Commonly deployed grades are Hastelloy C276, Hastelloy C22, Hastelloy B2, Hastelloy B3, Hastelloy C4, Haynes 230, and Haynes 188.
2. Inconel 625 Pipe Fittings
Material Composition and Properties:
Inconel 625 is a high-strength, nickel-chromium alloy further enhanced with molybdenum and niobium, making it exceptionally resistant to high-temperature scenarios and corrosive conditions. This alloy maintains strong tensile and fatigue strength across a temperature range up to 980°C. It also features outstanding processing and welding capabilities, superb corrosion and oxidation resistance, and stress corrosion resistance under saline spray conditions.
This combination of properties makes Inconel 625 an excellent choice for pipe fittings used in harsh environments where both high strength and corrosion resistance are essential, such as marine, chemical processing, and oil and gas extraction industries.
