T-type Strainers
The T-type strainer, as its name suggests, resembles the letter "T" in its external shape. It is a small devices designed to remove small amounts of solid particles from liquids, thereby protecting equipment during normal operation. When fluid enters the filter cartridge with a mesh of certain specification, impurities are trapped inside the filter cartridge, while clean filtrate exits through the filter outlet. Cleaning is convenient, as the removable filter cartridge can be taken out, processed, and reinstalled, making maintenance extremely easy.
Filter Material:
The material of the filter is typically chosen to match the material of the connected process pipeline. Depending on the service conditions, suitable materials for the filter include cast iron, carbon steel, low-alloy steel, or stainless steel.
Selection of Mesh Size: The choice of mesh size primarily depends on the particle size of impurities to be intercepted and the process requirements of the medium. Different specifications of wire mesh can intercept particles of various sizes. You can refer to the "Mesh Specifications" table for the particle size that each mesh size can intercept.
